The search for the perfect Christmas Tree!

This year rather then having the fake tree - my husband decided we where heading to the woods to find the perfect tree. We got our permit...drove forever...my husband insisted we go far up skip the signs that say cut Christmas tree and find our own. Three hours later...no tree. So, I said lets go back to the signs...we did and low and behold the perfect tree. My husband cut it and we headed down the mountain. But we get the tree in the house and ....it is massive...I mean huge. I don't have the heart to tell him it is way way way to big. We have 11 foot ceilings and we still had to cut it down. The height is one thing the width is a whole another thing. But he is proud of that tree. So tonight we decorate it...tomorrow I will post the picture of the tree light up.

A Boy For All Seasons!

Most of you know that I have been trying to scrapbook outside the box. Meaning not in Chronological order. Not there is anything wrong with that...but I was getting bored of doing the same kinds of layouts over and over again. This layout was inspired by a layout I saw in Simple Scrapbooks. It depicts my son in each season of the year. These are just some of my fav photos. I love it.

The 12 minute Page

I gave myself a challenge this weekend. Friday night I was cooking pizza and I thought I wonder if I could finish a page in 12 minutes (the time it takes to cook pizza). I had a sketch I was planning on doing. Believe it or not this is a 12 minute page. And I love it. I love the title. So, challenge yourself this week set a time and make a page. For all of you that say I don't have time this took less time then a shower.

Today, the question becomes do I decorate for Christmas? Clean or Grocery Shop? Oh, the choices. We are actually have Thanksgiving tonight because my mom was sick. Really what I want to do is scrapbook a page that has been swirling in my mind.

Black Friday

So, I never made it shopping yesterday. I did our turkey Burner at the gym and I was spent. 3 hours is a long time. I taught 1 hour of it so. We raised alot of food for the local food bank so that was exciting. Check out the video here http://www.youtube.com/thebodystudio

I wanted to do a beach page that was clean and crisp! I used CTMH white Cardstock and the stamp set Legendary Moments, Memory Labels and September Word Puzzle. The ink is Indian Corn Blue and Black. The large Rub-On is Scenic Route. All the pictures are cut to a 2" x 2"3/4! On Wed. I just worked on pages all -day so I AM excited to show you! Happy Black Friday I am off to teach a 3 hour workout session called the Turkey Burner!
