Tinkering

I love to catch my little guy when he is not smiling for the camera, here he and a friend are attempting to climb a stump. To them I see in their faces this large tree...to me a little stump. Kids perspectives are always more exciting.

The Tie that Binds

We are so caught up in scrapbooking the events of our life that we often forget to scrapbook pictures together that coordinate in a different way. Like the layout above all of these pictures are at different places and times but they are also all of Carter with Grandma's. Showing all the generations in the family.
So, I challenge you to scrapbook a layout about the Tie that binds...and it doesn't have to be family. Maybe it is of your son or daughter eating a Popsicle one at age 1 and one at age 16. More of a comparison of how they have changed. So pull out the old photos and the new and mix and match. It makes for some new ideas and new challenges.

Friendship makes life colorful

This is a card that I made yesterday, but this morning when I read the phrase I thought isn't that the truth. Friendship does make life colorful in more then one way. Without it life can be dull and depressing. My friendships have gone through a range of colors some bright and cheery and some dark and dreary. One thing I have found hard in friendship is finding people who place the same importance on friendship as I do. Luckily, in my life today I feel that my friends value our friendship.

Being a mother now, friendship is hard to maintain. The other day I had a friend over with her two kids and mine. It was dreadful. The kids where fighting and we where both in agreement that today was not a great day for us all to be together. So, last night as we talked on the phone we laughed about...what earlier in the week was dreadful. Moms are so busy and it hard to take that time to connect with another human being.

The last thing I will say about friendship...is it hard to come by and hard to continue. But it is worth the work in the end. CTMH has given me the tools to meet women and for that I am grateful. So today call a friend or better yet mail a card :) and tell her or him how much you love them and are thankful for them!

Happy Monfay!

Felt...love it!

Here is another sneak peak of the upcoming Summer catalog. Available May 1st online! Love, love, love it.
When I sat down to work on these cards I was not in the card making mood. You know the mood where it all flows so naturally! But I found that it really didn't matter because with the CTMH products it all came together on it's own.
Can't wait to show you the new stuff. Hopefully these posts will help to make up for the loss of artwork last week!

I DO

Once again the internet is down at my house, so I am at the in-laws I found some of my wedding photo's on their PC. Chris and I got married in 2006 in Las Vegas at the Flamingo. The Flamingo has a beautiful garden. It was 105 degrees and as you can tell I had a big dress.
I have lots of new artwork just working on getting the internet up and running. Until then enjoy a look at my personal life.

Sneak Peak Summer Catalog - May STOM

More Vomitting are you kiddin!

So, as you all know I was so sick last week with a cold and fever! My son vomited from Thursday to Saturday! Last night my poor husband was vomiting over and over again. It hard to hear kids but adults vomiting just sounds gross! I feel so bad for him! So here I am again holding up the house with sick boys all around. The good new is I have made some fabulous cards...the bad news is the Internet is down so I am at the father-in-laws with no access to pics. I will find away to get them posted for you all to view. For now I must go and Lysol the heck out of my diseased filled home.

Oh the joys of Motherhood and Wifehood!!!

Still no memory card

Might have to buy a new one

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

Sorry, no pics...

Once again I made the mistake of leaving my memory card loaded in the computer and my son has taken off with it somewhere. I have new artwork just no way to post. But once I find it I will post a boatload. Here is some older artwork!
